“Baseless And False,” Bharat Director Ali Abbas Zafar On Fallout Rumours With Salman Khan

Yesterday, reports were afloat that Bharat director, Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan have had an argument over the weekend over film’s duration. Now, Zafar has denied the news and said "Salman Bhai is like an elder brother to me"

Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar hit jodi did some wonders this time too. Bharat, which was released on June 5, 2019, became one of the biggest openers for Salman Khan. As the film is minting good numbers, rumors were rife that there has been an argument between the superstar and the director over the movie's editing. But now, during a recent interview, Ali refutes all the rumors of fallout with Salman and called it baseless.

While speaking to Pinkvilla, Ali said, "These are completely false and baseless rumors. Salman Bhai is like an elder brother to me and everyone knows we consider each other family. And everyone who's spreading such reports, I just have one thing to tell. Salman and I have ready discussed a couple of things and he will soon be spending a lot of time again with me on a project."


Well, since all is well between the two, we are more than excited to see this actor-director duo again for another project. Looking at the current box-office collections of Bharat, it seems Salman-Ali are all set to give three hits in a row, after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Talking about Bharat, the film opened with Rs. 42.30 cr on Wednesday and on Thursday it collected Rs. 31 cr, making the grand total to Rs. 73.30 cr at the domestic box-office. Seems like Bharat is gearing up to smash all the box-office records over the weekends.


Bharat stars, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni and Tabu in the key roles.
